Part Time Paid Internship
ITV America is now the largest independent producer of non-scripted content in America, through its production companies: ITV Entertainment, Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, High Noon Entertainment, Thinkfactory Media, and Good Caper Crime. ITVA is a reality television powerhouse with hundreds of hours of cutting-edge and innovative unscripted programming, airing on various major networks. We produce leading content including Queer Eye, Hell's Kitchen, Love Island, Pawn Stars, Fixer Upper, and Real Housewives of NJ.
Based in ITV's North Hollywood office, this role will report to the Senior Vice President of ITV Entertainment and the Director of Casting of ITV America. This is a Part-Time Paid Internship and requires three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Development
• Supporting the executive assistant/coordinator/manager with any administrative tasks
• Development and research, transcribing sizzles, deck building, image sourcing, writing, and ideation
• Attend weekly staff meeting and brainstorms with members of the development team
Casting
• Assisting teams with research and compiling outreach on various series and development projects
• Helping teams navigate new and emerging social media platforms to further broaden our reach to potential talent
• Creating tailored casting flyers and pitch materials
• Shadowing team on pre-interview phone calls, casting skypes, and talent generals
• Pitching new talent ideas and contributing to host lists
• Administrative support
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of executives' obligations in order to proactively assist and/or anticipate needs, and help maintain deadlines
Qualifications:
• Able to commit to 2 months to the internship and at least 16-24 hours per week
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail
• Positive, collaborative attitude
• Ability to take direction and an eagerness to learn
