Ish Entertainment is seeking interns for 2-3 days a week. We develop and produce and non-scripted television, scripted television, feature-length documentaries, as well as digital content.
Development/Production Intern
Primary responsibility of our interns will be to assist in research and development of projects, support the production staff on set, and help with pre-production responsibilities. Our interns may also be asked to assist the post production department, working with the post manager and coordinator to help with work flow, learn about the post production process from ingestion to exporting, and to support the team with the deliverables of projects.
The internship will also provide a 13-week lesson plan (classes bi-weekly) for all interns that will cover all aspects of television production for both scripted and unscripted projects, from development to production to post-production. The curriculum will include lectures from guests and internal discussions, culminating with the intern pitching an original idea to the CEO and Vice President of Development at Ish.
We ask that our interns be bright, organized, motivated, professional, have a passion for film and television, and a willingness to learn. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Final Draft are not required but helpful. The purpose of this internship is NOT for our interns to provide free labor and fetch coffee. Instead, we are committed to having our interns learn about the entertainment industry and receiving the tools and knowledge that will help find employment in the future.
