Intern - Virtual Marketing & Social Media

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Ironic PRODUCTION is a boutique production consultancy that provides customized services and focuses on a client's all around needs while shooting in Italy.

Ironic focuses mainly on film, TV and festival production, providing operative support and guidance on various Italian and foreign production projects shooting in Italy, ranging from pre-production to production management, research, location scouting, casting, securing (often English speaking) crew, acquiring permits, transportation & craft services, translations and interpreting.

The Marketing Research / Social Media Intern will primarily be responsible for researching and targeting potential new clients and partners for Ironic Production, from marketing to lead generation to marketing materials. Intern's foremost priorities are as follows:

· Conduct research in pre-determined new markets & research the markets to their fullest extent including competition.
· Build a detailed database (on Excel) of the targeted markets.
· Take responsibility for creating engagement on Client's Facebook (FB) page, while updating Ironic's ''How To Use FB for Biz'' guideline.
· Research, create & schedule/post posts on Ironic's Instagram page (approx. 1-2 per day), while updating Ironic's ''How To Instagram for Biz'' guideline
· Intern will be utilizing Hootsuite and/or other social media management sites, to assist in the timely scheduling of posts.
· Assist in the development of marketing materials for this market, as well as review/generate new e-marketing ideas for Client.
• Assist in drafting/writing promo for socials and website.

Ironic is looking for a highly motivated intern interested in learning about social media marketing in the production industry. Candidates must love production, events organization, marketing & social media and be enthusiastic and computer/internet savvy. As an intern, you would be an essential part of our team and have fun while learning a lot about the industry. You will assist with outreach, research and project related tasks. Interns would have specific duties, deadlines and take full responsibility for their projects. A commitment of 15-20 hours per week is required, for a minimum of 4 months. This is a virtual/online position and is an unpaid internship.

• Great familiarity with social networking sites
• Advanced experience with all Office programs
• Timely responses to email, texts & other
• Ability to time manage / flexible schedule

• Keen organizational and multi-tasking skills

All selected candidates will be required to sign a contract prior to beginning a collaboration.
