JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assist with the design and scheduling of all real time graphics, including bugs, ratings, lower thirds, squeeze backs, and end credits etc.
•Work with Network Control Operators and Media Services to update graphics for automation and assist with any special projects or live productions.
•Responsible for testing and maintaining template based graphics.
•Coordinate with Graphic Artists, Producers, and Management to ensure the highest quality graphics while maintaining the integrity of the brands design.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
•Degree in Motion Design, Broadcasting, TV/Film, Communications or related field
•3-5 years experience in a graphics department preferably in television
•Strong working knowledge of Orad and Chyron graphics systems or other real time Channel Branding systems.
•Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, 3D animation and Photoshop
•Creative self-starter with competent design and organizational skills
•Attention to detail and the ability to handle pressure in an on-air environment
•Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively with others
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•High level of computer literacy on PC and Mac
•Self motivated and enthusiastic
•Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and workflow requirements
•Knowledge of MSSQL databases and SQL programming is a plus.
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
