Media Policy Coordinator

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Professional position combines research, communications and advocacy with administrative functions
•Supports Executive Vice President
•Researching Congressional, FCC, and other governmental actions
•Planning and executing events, and outreach to key organizations
•Scheduling, correspondence, expense reporting, procurement, and budget tracking

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Must be very good at handling details, such as EVP’s calendar
•Strong organizational and research skills required
•Excel skills are a must
•Bachelor’s degree required
•Ability to draft and proof letters and other documents
•Must be able to create Power Point and other presentations
•A background in governmental-relations, Congressional staff, campaigns, and/or media is desirable.
