JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Dedicated Direct Response Sales executive for ION MEDIA NETWORKS (including Digital Networks, presently Qubo and ION Life).
•Responsible for pricing, budgeting, inventory management and selling advertising inventory, which will be done thru direct-response advertisements.
•Establish relationships with and sell Direct Response to ad agencies and direct accounts through in person and phone calls.
•Develop new business, both at agency and direct levels.
•Increase shares of business through creative selling and promotion ideas.
•Prepare written proposals.
•Maintain a thorough knowledge of market and competition.
•Increase visibility in market through professional, business, social and charitable organizations.
•Update weekly client and call information and report activity to sales management.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Proven positive sales track record with 5 years TV advertising experience (DR Sales exp required).
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
•Must be a team player, positive attitude
•Must have reliable transportation
