Part Time Unpaid Internship
Assist Awards Department with screening and processing of program submissions for the 2022 International Emmy® Awards competition. General administrative tasks and department assistance, including watching foreign programs for quality assurance, reviewing program eligibility, fact-checking, Internet research, and editing program summaries.
Strong organization, research, and writing/editing skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy in information gathering are a must. Candidates with database knowledge and foreign language skills are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be available 2-3 days a week from 9:30-5:30.
Length: January 2022 - May 2022
Compensation: This not a paid position. Must receive college credit.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a membership-based organization comprised of leading media and entertainment figures from over 60 countries and 500 companies from all sectors of television including internet, mobile and technology. The Academy's yearly schedule of events includes the prestigious International Emmy® Awards Ceremony held in New York, The International Emmy® KIDS Awards at MIP and a series of industry events such as Academy Day, The International Emmy® World Television Festival and Panels on substantive industry topics. The Academy was chartered with a mission to recognize excellence in television produced outside of the United States and it presents The International Emmy® Awards in the following sixteen one categories: Arts Programming; Best Performance by an Actress; Best Performance by an Actor; Current Affairs; Comedy; Documentary; Drama Series; Kids: Animation; Kids: Factual & Entertainment; Kids: Live-Action; Non-English U.S. Primetime Program; Non-Scripted Entertainment; Short Form Series; Telenovela; TV Movie/Mini-Series.
