Spring Intern - Production and Post Production

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Internship Duration: January to May
Time/Days Required: 7 hours a day, 2-3 days a week
Workplace Requirements: In person at our Pasadena office

This internship will provide experience in all aspects of filmmaking, from pre-production, through production to editing, self-distribution, and marketing. It is a tremendous opportunity to network and learn about documentary filmmaking.
This Spring, our interns will work on a variety of projects including 3 documentaries in distribution, as well as a project in post production, set to release to audiences around the world.

Production Intern requirements

Interns will have the opportunity to interact closely with media professionals and attend first-class film screenings. We are looking for interns that are skilled in scheduling, camera operation, communication, critical writing skills, team work, and most importantly have the drive to work in the film industry. Interns should be skilled in organization and time management, as we are currently digitizing various media formats for our previous film WE LIVE IN PUBLIC. Being quick to learn new skills is a must!

Post Production Intern requirements

We are looking for someone who is willing and eager to learn, a strong communicator, stays organized, is a critical problem solver and self-starter are some excellent qualities to have as a Post Intern in the office. Knowledge in Avid Media Composer (preferred), Adobe suite (Premiere, Photoshop), and DaVinci Resolve or willing to learn the above editing suites is a huge plus! This is an opportunity to collaborate with major studios and work with a medley of industry-standard software.
