INTERLOPER FILMS is seeking Spring Interns!
INTERLOPER FILMS is an international award-winning full-service production company founded by acclaimed filmmaker Ondi Timoner. Best known for her films about ''impossible visionaries'' - people who naturally push boundaries, and films that take on massive subjects impacting society from predictive and unique points of view. She has the rare distinction of winning the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance twice, for DIG! & WE LIVE IN PUBLIC e Live in Public. Both reside in the permanent collection of MoMA NY. Timoner was recently nominated for an Emmy for Exceptional Merit for her 2022 film LAST FLIGHT HOME, which was also Shortlisted for the Oscar, and she received the prestigious Visionary Award for Observational Filmmaking from DocNYC. Interloper develops & produces original feature length documentaries and narrative films, non-fiction television series, web series, & award-winning short films.

This Spring our interns will work on a variety of projects including 1 documentary at Sundance, 2 in production and 2 in post production. We have it all!
We are currently seeking a part-time Social Media Content Creator Intern to develop visual content, short-form social videos, memes, GIF's and dynamic media assets to grow social media audiences with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Ideally this candidate would Intern 2-3 days for a minimum of 10 hours a week.
Qualified candidates can:
- Strategically and quickly shoot, create and edit video and photo content to tell engaging stories
- Be up-to-date on trending video content especially on Reels and TikTok and be able to quickly develop content
- Identify thumb-stopping, brand and audience building opportunities for content
- Contribute creatively and deliver projects on a deadline
- Have a deep understanding of social media and audience engagement
- Able to commit for at least a 3 month period.
- Interested in learning about the entertainment business from a new perspective
