Assistant Editor, German Speaking

This is a Part Time Job

Interloper Films, the award-winning production company behind such films as DIG! and WE LIVE IN PUBLIC and LAST FLIGHT HOME, is seeking qualified candidates for a German speaking AE position.

AVID and Adobe Premiere knowledge needed. Candidates should have the ability to sync, group and pull clips and make stringouts in AVID and Premiere.

This position will likely start part time and then move to full time, with potential pay gain, when one of the projects gets greenlit and commences post, targeting late June for this.

Responsibilities could include:
• Ingesting media from shoots
• Organizing and managing our database of online drives.
• Digitizing our archive of CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes, and DV tapes.
• Pulling archival footage to be used for online streaming services.
• Updating and maintaining our website and social media platforms.

Skills/Requirements:
• Must be able to speak and write in German
• Tech-savy, with experience in website design and social media
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google applications
• Organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

We are looking for someone with a no-task-too-big/no-task-too-small mindset who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. The ideal candidate will be excited to tackle the content, and will work with the marketing team to help bring Interloper to a wider audience.
