We are looking for a reliable Director / Executive Director of Accounting to supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. You will establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.
This position reports to the COO of the company and works in partnership with the CEO, account and business development executives.
Responsibilities
· Develop and prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
· Prepare monthly/quarter company financials
· Monthly variance analysis
· Drive month-end close process
· Check-in and assist teammates with various accounting functions
· Prepare weekly cashflow for CEO & COO
· Manage cash flow, projections and budgeting plans
· Responsible for billing, A/P and A/R
· Manage Fixed Asset and Prepaid schedules
· Oversee timesheet management software
· Recommend, implement, and maintain (agency wide and interdepartmental) improvements for agency's finance and accounting processes
· Lead yearly external audit/review
· Liaise with offsite Tax Accountants
· Special and ad hoc projects
Required Qualifications
· 5-7 years of related-industry experience in the accounting and finance field
· BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or closely related field
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Understanding and practice of GAAP
· Excellent communication and business writing skills required
· Ability to prioritize and maintain excellent organizational skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Accounting Software
· Experience with Paprika accounting software a plus
· Experience with PayPro payroll software a plus
Benefits and Compensation
· Compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), sick, and unlimited discretionary PTO.
· Salary range is $100,000 - $120,000 depending upon experience
