Rapidly growing studio and production company seeks Development Assistant for its scripted development team. Compensation commensurate with the chosen candidate's credentials and experience.
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the development team, organize and support a slate of world-class scripted projects for streaming and cable networks.
• Maintain creative records including submissions log, development report, and buyer insights.
• Contribute to submissions review by participating in the evaluation of material, generating coverage on show concepts and books.
• Manage standard industry executive desk duties: phone coverage, calendar, travel & expenses.
Basic Qualifications
1-3 years of executive assistant experience at an Agency, Management Company, Network, Studio or Production Company.
Successful Candidates will Possess
• Track record of running an entertainment executive's desk.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively organize and track contact information, creative material, and plans of action.
• Experience evaluating books, scripts, and pitch treatments with a handle on how to constructively articulate the upside or risks of taking on said material.
• A deep passion for scripted television and creative content.
