Insomniac - Project Manager, Elevated Experiences
THE ROLE
Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Project Manager for Elevated Experiences. The Project Manager for Elevated Experiences will be responsible for managing various aspects of show management from pre-production through post-production. This is not a remote position and is required to be in office on a hybrid schedule and on site at various event locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with managers on populating advances
• Partner with the lead manager and the project finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and reconciling based upon an approved concept design
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors during the planning and execution of all projects
• Facilitate in creating and implement design concepts and activations per festival brand
• Support in populating the production schedule
• Create and manage the shipping document
• Manage all graphics, included but not limited to creating the graphic grid and the scrim plan. Ensuring all graphics are printed and installed on time and according to the plan
• Work alongside other departments to ensure items are setup according to plan
• Manage various orders such as drapey, greenery, and rentals
• Partner with the EE Admin Manager to complete the purchase tracker, HSBC, and upload receipts to the shared drive within five days post event
• Support in recruiting, hiring onboarding and training various team members
• Act as the department lead on smaller shows
• Various projects and tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of event production and operations coordination/planning and execution
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, Apple operating systems, Google Suite, Air table, Asana, and other programs as necessary
• Ability to effectively supervise and manage groups of staff
• Must be motivated with an ''Everything is possible'' attitude
• Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
• Detail-oriented; excellent organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
• Must be able to work nights and weekends and travel (economy) overnight/weekends
• Travel is required (economy).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to continuously stand or walk
• Must be able to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces
• May frequently work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels in the work environment

The expected compensation for this position in California is: $75,000 - $85,000 USD
