DESCRIPTION:
Insomniac - Production Coordinator, Apparel
THE ROLE
Insomniac is looking for a Production Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of apparel production timelines. This position will report to the Production Manager. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Style set up in PLM system and updating changes when necessary
• Create purchase orders for finished goods and raw materials
• Understand and troubleshoot issues related to various decoration methods (screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, etc.)
• Ensure artwork files are production-ready and accurately translated onto garments
• Track samples and log approvals
• Maintain internal and vendor WIP reports, production schedules, and delivery timelines
• Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks, quality issues, and logistical challenges to maintain smooth operations
• Prepare and verify all shipping documentation
• Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies between factory reports and internal records
• All other projects and initiatives as identified
• Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors, and partners when needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of experience in the apparel production environment
• Knowledge of production cycle timeline
• Demonstrated understanding of general apparel construction and decorated based apparel
• Working knowledge of Illustrator, MS Office, Google Sheets, and PLM system
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize when handling multiple projects at a time
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and demanding timelines
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and shows initiative
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event locations
• Must be able to work in open concept office space
