We're hiring one person on an immediate basis for our internet business in the entertainment industry.
We assist producers and other execs in the film/TV industry find scripts and writers using our online services/database. We have a small staff.
Location: Tujunga (north of Glendale).
The first 2 months working here will involve much training.
Most of the duties will involve:
- Emailing potential/existing partners
- Data entry
- Training for some phone work
- Reviewing copy for marketing/cross-promo (some creation as well)
- Some light data analysis (will grow over time)
This is not a hectic, fast-paced work environment.
The position requires excellent time management, thorough organization skills, and a proactive mindset.
You'll be working in our office in Tujunga daily and won't be on production sets as all the work is office work.
Must be willing to learn/re-learn marketing fundamentals and be able to think outside the box at times while still adhering to guidelines.
This is a position for you if you:
- are task-oriented
- want to learn about building relationships with partners
- like working in a steady environment
- believe in what our company does
- are looking for long-term employment
This is NOT a position for you if you:
- want to work in an ad agency-type environment
- need a fast-paced work life
- prefer more loose creative environments
- want to be at a big organization
- are looking for a job to tide you over until you find what you really want to do.
Entertainment industry experience not required.
You will report to our marketing director.
Office skills required: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic shortcuts, such as how to copy, cut and paste without using the mouse.
Minimum typing speed: 55 wpm.
