InkTip is a digital platform where filmmakers and screenwriters connect. Filmmakers have optioned thousands of scripts from writers through InkTip, leading to over 400 produced films.
We are a micro-sized organization with a small team working closely with one another. We are hiring a few positions to bolster our organization to venture into exciting new developments.
We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to be a bridge between product management strategy and technical product management.
This role will be approximately 50% strategic and 50% technical.
You will manage the bridge between product strategy/vision (the ''Why'' the Product Director oversees) and technical execution (the Product Development Lead and developers work on the ''How''). In essence, you will help take the ''Why'' and translate that into the ''What'' which enables the ''How.''
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Product Director with market research, translate customer feedback into user requirements, and work with the marketing team on product marketing.
• Help create and maintain product roadmaps.
• Plan and implement new products and features.
• Look at data analytics.
• Assist with product testing.
• You will also work alongside the Product Development Lead who focuses on executing the development of new products.
• This role allows the freedom to work creatively and innovatively within a small organization.
• You will report to the Product Director.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Product experience (1 year minimum). Please state your experience working in Product.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to initiate communication between teams and identify gaps in workflows
• Must be both detail-oriented yet able to think strategically on a macro-level
• Project management skills.
• Love making decisions informed by data but not 100% driven by data.
