FX TD

This is a Full Time Job

Ingenuity Engine is an artist-owned and operated feature film and commercial studio in Hollywood, California. We have a great team of talented artists working working in a lively and creative environment. We are currently seeking an FX TD for extended work on two features.

Responsibilities Include:
• Creating photo real fire, smoke, and atmospherics in Fume
• Augmenting atmospherics with particles and other FX
• Lighting and rendering FX passes for compositing
• Utilizing rotomated geometry for convincing scene interaction
• Optimizing and streamlining approved looks and workflows for application to a variety of shots
• Creating tools and scripts to speed workflows

Artists should be familiar with more than one of the following applications:
• 3ds Max
• Fume
• Krakatoa
• Houdini
• Nuke experience is a plus
• Maxscript / Python scripting experience is a plus

Qualifications:
• Strong time management skills and extremely organized.
• Solid work ethic and a positive attitude in the face of challenging situations.
• Artists must be able to take direction and work in a team focused environment, good communication skills are a must
• Los Angeles Residents or willingness to relocate preferred, relocation assistance may be available subject to negotiation
