INFAMOUS PR Brand Internship - Job Description

INFAMOUS PR is a public relations and media agency based in Los Angeles, specializing in electronic music and hip-hop. We work across the music industry representing artists, festivals, labels and brands including Wu-Tang Clan, Pete Tong, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Honeyluv, Desert Hearts, Primavera Sound, HARD Summer, Holy Ship, Splash House, CRSSD, X Games, and more.

In recent years, the company has expanded their brand division working consumer alcohol and cannabis brands like Pabst Blue Ribbon, ST. IDES, Rainier Beer, Pabst Labs, Astro Hippie, and more.

We are seeking highly-motivated individuals who are passionate about food and beverage, as well as the music scene to participate in our fast-paced internship program in the company's brand division.

Note: Applicants with previous public relations internship experience are preferred.

Applicants should have an interest in consumer brands, and be ready to learn the importance of the role of public relations within those industries. Interns will gain a complex understanding of the current media landscape and earn invaluable skills to take with them as they transition into their desired professions.

Our goal is to provide interns with hands-on experience in navigating the ever-changing field of media and the dynamic mediums that have developed across it. Our highly involved approach will earn interns the confidence to foster key relationships with industry players and media moving forward.

As an intern at INFAMOUS PR, you can expect to learn the following:
Research and reporting across client campaigns
How to write pitches and press releases
Creating and updating contact lists
Radio, YouTube and DSP ecosystems
How to secure and maintain client relationships
Directly assisting brand, artists, and festival publicists across the company

Interns will be expected to work over a 3-month period, 3 days per week, 8 hours per day, during the suggested block of 10 AM - 6 PM PT. As we are currently remote, we will consider applicants outside of LA and therefore the hours can be flexed.
