The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Lead with a strong background in corporate finance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations across corporate finance, entertainment/production accounting, and nonprofit accounting, along with exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization at the intersection of entertainment, nonprofit, and corporate finance.
As our Finance Lead, you'll get to play a key role in shaping the financial future of our organization. This role will report to our President and work closely with our Chief of Staff, focusing on financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting.

Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting for Inevitable Foundation & Inevitable Studios
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, bank and credit card account reconciliations, revenue and expenditure categorization, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
• Work with our audit and tax firm to ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations, including tax reporting and grant requirements.
• Monitor restricted funds and maintain accurate records of donations, grants and programs.
• Supervise the tracking of costs, allocation of expenses, and financial reporting across multiple programs and projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Financial Analysis for Inevitable Foundation & Inevitable Studios
• Support strategic financial planning and analysis on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Assist in the development of financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making across the organizations and its projects and programs.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
Reporting for Inevitable Foundation & Inevitable Studios
• Manage grant reporting, track disbursements, prepare financial reports, and streamline grant processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for board meetings and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Given the interdisciplinary nature of this role, we are willing to train and grow with the right person. If you meet 70% or more of the qualifications and are committed to learning the rest, we encourage you to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis roles, with a focus on corporate, entertainment/production, or nonprofit finance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations specific to the entertainment, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Quickbooks Online, Airtable, and other financial software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the entertainment, media, and disability landscape.
Compensation and Office Culture
• Salary: $72,500-$87,500 commensurate with experience
