Non-fiction linear and non-linear production company, INE Entertainment, is hiring an Executive Assistant for its two founding Executive Producers/Managing Partners. Together they're responsible for developing, creating, and showrunning thousands of hours of programming, including unscripted TV juggernauts like The Biggest Loser (NBC) and Masterchef (Fox) as well as groundbreaking non-linear projects like real-time doc series @Summerbreak, Emmy-nominated comedic anthology The Crossroads of History, and the Emmy-nominated hybrid comedy Making a Scene with James Franco.
Founded in 2015, INE is a full-service independent production company born out of a mission to combine great storytelling with innovative producing as the best way to serve (1) tomorrow's linear and non-linear distributors, (2) an increasingly diverse community of talent in front of and behind the camera, and (3) the progressively dynamic relationship between audiences, media platforms, and brands.
INE's portfolio that spans lifestyle, competition, talk, comedy, pop-science, factual, documentary, biography, and branded, including recent or current projects with Facebook, YouTube, Disney+, ESPN+, Amazon, Travel, Animal Planet, TLC, ABC, Discovery, and The Science Channel.
Who's right for this job?
You have prior EA experience (talent agency experience is a plus), but you do NOT want to be an EA forever. You want to get in on the ground floor in non-fiction development and production - and you want to be running a division of this company in a few years. You need to be curious about the world. You need to passionate about storytelling or, at the very least, passionate about empowering great storytellers. You want the opportunity to soak up the unprecedented access you'll have on this desk - to the entire ecosystem of non-fiction television, from ideation to dealmaking to packaging to booking to production - and use that knowledge to get your own stories made.
Executive Assistant Duties:
Manage calendars
Coordinate meetings, both internally and with buyers, producing partners, agents and talent.
Manage inbound/outbound calls
Coordinate follow-ups and information dissemination
Project research and intelligence gathering
Contribute to brainstorms and development
Pitch material creation and prep
Build and maintain a network of peers at buyers and agencies
Coordinate travel
Occasional errands
Coordinate office-wide celebrations and events
Be two steps ahead of your bosses.
Office Manager Duties:
Manage mail and deliveries
Greet all guests at reception and direct them to appropriate contact
Coordinate parking/arrival for VIP guests
Keep office orderly and functioning (including keeping people in line!)
Organize birthday celebrations for office (buy materials, coordinate timing
