This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Indian Paintbrush, a New York and Los Angeles-based production company, is looking for bright and enthusiastic interns with an interest in film. We are currently seeking interns for our New York office for the fall semester.
Applicants should be outgoing, organized and able to write a clear and concise analysis of projects. Candidates do not need to be film or English majors, but this internship does require a significant amount of reading in the office, so only serious candidates with an interest in the film or publishing industries should apply.
General intern duties include, but are not limited to:
• Making first round evaluations of spec material and writing detailed coverage for books, screenplays, articles, ect.
• Conducting research for potential projects.
• Answering phones, and maintaining a phone sheet.
• Film Festival preparation (dependent upon time of year).
The ideal candidate will have his/her own laptop and is also comfortable working on a Mac platform. This internship is a great opportunity to gain experience in independent feature film development and make further contacts in the industry.
Days are flexible, typical hours are 10AM - 4PM.
