Freelance Job
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the Festival's marketing strategy for strengthening the Festival's identity and brand
* Ensure the consistency of the Festival's brand and identity on all marketing and community outreach platforms
* Prospect, cultivate and secure the Festival's media sponsors
*Coordinate group sales
* Coordinate delivery all tickets/passes for confirmed media sponsors and promotional partners and ensure that their experience at the Festival is successful
* Work closely with the sponsorship department to ensure the media benefit fulfillment of Festival's sponsors
* Work closely with the Social Media Manager in developing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with the Festival's overall marketing strategy
* Work closely with newsletter editor in executing the Festival's social media and newsletter
* Measure and report outcomes of marketing efforts
* Work closely with the publicity department in coordinating media sponsors placement on red carpet and executing radio ticket giveaways
* Attend weekly IFFLA staff meetings, conference calls, and other department meetings as needed
* Provide a comprehensive wrap report of the marketing department
* Oversee the Festival's community outreach program and secure the Festival's promotional partners
* Create a community outreach plan in collaboration with programming, marketing, publicity, and sponsorship staff to ensure increased audience attendance for Festival's programs
Develop and grow the Festival's relationships and partnerships within the local targeted communities to identify opportunities for collaboration and to raise awareness of the Festival and increase attendance
* Work closely with volunteer department for flyer placement at public spots (non-profit friendly)
* Provide a comprehensive wrap report of the outreach department
