SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
Join the 2020 Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) as an intern and experience a vibrant cinema and culture while you develop new friendships and connections in the film industry! Interns work closely with festival staff and have an opportunity to see first hand how it all comes together. The festival will run from April 1-5, 2020 at Arclight Hollywood and Regal LA Live.
Description:
The Social Media team works to amplify IFFLA's work and mission throughout the festival, maximizing its outreach via all social channels. By utilizing social media outlets and with the help of other marketing/ creative tools, the Social Media team insures the wide yet cohesive promotion of IFFLA and its core identity and values.
Qualifications:
- Assist in gathering content for our social media (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter) as well as help creating new content during festival, including photos, videos for post, stories and live streams.
- Maintain and update social media assets folders
- Contribute, as needed, to the social media calendar which lays out future posts.
- Support our audience research, hashtag campaigns and trends, to determine best practices and audiences to target in our social strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organization skills
- Interest in film/television and familiarity with contemporary film trends
- Understanding of social media ads/campaigns and campaign metrics is a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Based in Los Angeles
This role is non-paid and no school credit is offered.
