Independent Public Relations is seeking a highly motivated assistant to join our team. We are a boutique talent publicity firm located in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: handling phones and call sheet; scheduling lunches, calls, and meetings; coordinating details of photo shoots and clients' press schedules; putting together and updating clients' bios, press kits, and various pitching materials; sending out press mentions and features to clients and their respective teams; managing office mail, expenses, mileage and other responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate should be extremely resourceful and able to operate under tight and ever-changing timelines and deadlines. They should also be able to exercise judgment and professional discretion in a high-stress environment. An interest in pop culture and entertainment is preferred.
While the position is entry level, there is a lot of room to grow and there will be opportunities to take on more responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in talent publicity representation in the entertainment industry.
