Employment Type: Full Time 40 Hours Per Week Event Coordinator / Sales and Marketing
We are a rapidly expanding event specialty company actively seeking an eager, creative individual to fill a role in our Events Coordination & and Marketing Department. The ideal candidate must be a team player and have a proven track record in the development and design of Marketing Materials, Supporting the sales team with the coordination of entertainment events of our clients that take place throughout the country
An aptitude for creativity and the proficiency to deliver quality creative work by tight deadlines will be necessary to succeed in this position.
Required Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and communication with vendors
Completes projects by coordinating with clients
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Computer skills: computer design software systems; ( Excel, Word, Photo Shop, Illustrator, etc.)
Meet weekly productivity objectives
General office duties
Follow company policies and procedures
Event Coordination & Marketing Support Responsibilities
Preparing detailed marketing proposals for account executives
Preparation & sending of marketing packages
Preparation and forwarding of sales correspondence to clients
Maintaining calendar in spreadsheet Format
Coordination with other team members
Event Coordination & Marketing Support:
Sending photos, press releases, and related information
Assisting in the layout & design of marketing packages & promotional materials and website updates
Creation of press releases
Forwarding of press releases to media
Uploading updates to company web site
Office hours 8:30am - 5:30pm
Maintaining of front office equipment; fax, photocopier, printers and postage meter ordering office Supplies sorting and forwarding of mail
Forwarding courier packages
Bank deposits
Minimum Qualifications:
Event Coordination & marketing experience preferred but not required•
Proficient in basic computer software; MS Office, Excel, Photoshop, Google,
Excellent communication & coordination skills detail oriented and organized
Confident and self-motivated
Ability to speak confidently to clients and vendors
