Full Time Job
Our Imagine team is seeking a hungry, high-energy, Social Media Manager who can run all @Imagine social media channels (including for sub-brands Jax Media and Jigsaw). The ideal candidate will help develop Imagine's voice across its different social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter) by generating high-quality content that fits the vocabulary and relevant trends of each platform. This is a position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is dialed into popular culture and online trends, and loves all things entertainment.
This role would report to the VP of Publicity and work closely with senior executives across the company to develop innovative social media ideas for Imagine's projects, past and present.
Job duties include but may not be limited to:
- Elevate and execute Imagine's social media strategy and engagement (all Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn accounts) keeping a constant online presence.
- Take initiative with ideation and boost Imagine's visibility with consistent posting and interaction online
- Work closely with Imagine's VP of Publicity and show/film leads on project timelines to leverage social media opportunities around launches and Imagine milestones
- Build and maintain archive of Imagine TV/Film assets that can be utilized for social posts and marketing initiatives
- Create and maintain a posting calendar and react to current events
- Help further develop the Imagine brand via social media and identify opportunities for merchandise, PR, artist/influencer collaborations, and partnership initiatives
Qualifications:
- 1-2-year(s) experience managing the social media accounts of a prominent consumer brand or entertainment company
- Alternatively, some experience in communications, content creation, advertising, branding, digital marketing, social media and agency/vendor management a plus
- Exceptional writing skills (and sense of humor)
- Expertise in building a social media presence, increasing followers and boosting visibility
- Strong knowledge of online trends and popular culture
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented. Able to exercise good judgment in regards to online presence
- Strong proficiency in graphic design and video editing a plus (including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, and more)
