This is a Full Time Job
The Finance team is looking for a Staff Accountant / Senior Financial Accountant to join its growing department. Key features to this role include, but are not limited to, analysis and reconciliation of accounts across Imagine's legacy business and growth initiatives, such as acquisitions and new divisions; preparation of month-end entries and adjusting journal entries; internal control maintenance and assistance with external audits; management of invoicing and collections; monthly management reporting pack preparation.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Review, analyze and consolidate monthly financials, including the maintenance of proper support and reconciliations for financial accounts
Calculate and prepare month-end entries including I/C chargebacks, production entries, general overhead and adjusting journal entries to bring accounts to a GAAP basis
Support the reporting of the consolidated Imagine financial statements, including preparation of the monthly and quarterly divisional balance sheet and supporting schedules
Prepare invoices and track collections
Support the treasury process which includes review of the Company's credit card reconciliation
Support external audits, and identify areas impacting controls and thoughtfully recommend mitigating actions
Actively review, recommend and implement system enhancements to streamline and automate processes
Support accounting and finance managers and wider finance team with accounting, tax and reporting
Prepare ad-hoc reporting as needed
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
2-3+ years professional experience gained through one of the following paths:
2-3+ years of public accounting audit experience, ideally with some experience with entertainment clients, or
2-3+ years of experience working in an ''in-house'' Accounting and Reporting team within the Entertainment industry
Knowledge of accounting for TV/film revenue recognition and amortization
Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint
Experience with NetSuite and Concur is a plus

Hiring Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually
Starting pay depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to experience, training, and education.
