Our Imagine Television team is seeking an Executive Assistant to assist two VPs of Development. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is extremely organized, detail- oriented and can remain calm under pressure.
This job requires supporting the two executives who oversee both production and development, so a passion for television and the television business at large is a prerequisite. An ideal candidate will have a passion for reading, keep up with current market trends, work well on their own initiative, be curious and proactive, be able to anticipate needs and be a dedicated self-starter.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Provide administrative support, including updating and maintaining two busy calendars, heavy phone coverage & call sheets, the management and logging of incoming submissions, preparing travel arrangements & itineraries for business and film festival trips, consistently updating contacts, filing expense reports through Concur, and managing correspondence.
Read and perform coverage on books, scripts, articles, and other pieces of incoming material in a quick and concise manner.
Ensure efficient communication and coordinate meetings for executive, both internal, external, and project related business.
Enthusiastically track and evaluate material including submissions, samples, IP, podcast, etc.
Assist in preparing all necessary memos, presentations, research, meeting agendas, and meeting material as needed.
Maintain and track company's film and television projects in production and development, including the tracking of various drafts and cuts.
Stay up to date with Industry trends, writers, directors, projects, and mandates.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience on a busy lit or books desk - agency, production company, or studio/network preferred.
Experience with composing notes and strong writing skills.
Great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
Thrives in a fast-paced work environment, readily adapting to continually changing priorities & deadlines.
Holds highest ethical and moral standards. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is of utmost priority.
Strong communication, organizational, administrative and follow-thru skills.
Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Hybrid- Vaccine Requirement)
Job Type: Regular; Full-Time
Hiring Salary Range: $23.00 - $24.05 per hour ($47,840 - $50,024 annually) + overtime*
Starting pay depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to experience, training, and education.
*Estimated total annual comp including potential overtime: $56,800 - $65,000 (overtime is never guaranteed and will vary based on business requirements)
