The Imagine finance team is looking for an Accounting Manager to join its growing department. Key features to this role include, but are not limited to, financial statement preparation; analysis and reconciliation of accounts across Imagine's legacy business and growth initiatives, such as acquisitions and new divisions; internal control maintenance and external audit oversight; regulatory reporting. Key Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze and consolidate monthly financials, including the maintenance of proper support and reconciliations for financial accounts
• Calculate and prepare month-end entries including I/C chargebacks and adjusting journal entries to bring accounts to a GAAP basis, including application of film and television ultimates accounting
• Review and approve Accounts Payable transactions
• Support the reporting of the consolidated Imagine financial statements, including preparation of the monthly and quarterly divisional reporting pack (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, supporting schedules and analysis and account reconciliation)
• Comply with tax and statutory reporting requirements, including the management of third-party tax professionals and financial consultants.
• Manage external audits, and identify areas impacting controls and thoughtfully recommend mitigating actions
• Actively review, recommend and implement system enhancements to streamline and automate processes
• Support Controller and wider finance team with accounting, tax and reporting expertise
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting as needed
• Perform other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• 5+ years related experience including at least 2 years in public accounting focused on entertainment clients
• Strong level of technical expertise in accounting for TV/film revenue recognition and amortization policies
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Experience with NetSuite and Concur is a plus

• Comfortable working in a changing environment requiring the creation or improvement of accounting and finance related processes
• Able to organize and work effectively under tight deadlines
• Confidence to represent the Accounting and Finance team and influence across all levels
• Able to identify and mitigate risks to positively impact Imagine's operations
• Self-motivated with a heightened sense of ownership for work
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Team-player who demonstrates professionalism and discretion when dealing with co-workers, investment partners and other third parties
• Excellent written and communication skills
