Description:
iHeartRadio is looking for focused and motivated college students to intern for the 2012 summer semester. This position is part-time and unpaid. Students must receive college credit.
Interns will be working with iHeartRadio, available online and via iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Phone 7, Xbox 360, Google TV and more. Our app combines the best of both worlds: Find the best of live radio and Create your own kind of radio. With iHeartRadio, you can listen to the top live radio stations from coast-to-coast and make, fine-tune, and share your own commercial-free Custom Stations based on your favorite songs or artists. The iHeartRadio app has been downloaded over 80 million times.
In addition to working with the iHeartRadio app, students will be working with 1,000 local Clear Channel Media Entertainment radio stations on digital initiatives and national projects as well as assisting with promoting the biggest live music event in radio history, the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2012.

Digital Marketing
Description: Responsibilities include conducting various online marketing projects such as: growing audience base on our active social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google , Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube), organizing and tracking social media initiatives from 1,000 local Clear Channel Media Entertainment radio stations from around the country as well as helping to extend the reach of music programs, news articles and contests to the appropriate targeted fans online. Interns will also track feedback/sentiment for the iHeartRadio app as well as assist in promoting the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2012.
Qualifications: Must have a strong interest in social media/digital marketing, possess creative writing skills and have an eagerness to learn. Marketing, Advertising or Communications majors preferred.
Requirements for all internships:
-Must be a college student (preferably sophomore-senior) able to receive college credit
-Minimum of 20 hours/week (2-3 full days)
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word a must; Outlook a bonus
-Knowledgeable of the web and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google , Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube)
-Strong communication skills - written and verbal
-Passion for music, pop culture and social media
-Must be detail-oriented, a fast learner and a team player
