POST PRODUCTION ASSISTANT/RUNNER, IGNITION CREATIVE

SUMMARY
The Post PA acts as a general assistant and undertakes whatever basic tasks are required to ensure the smooth running of Ignition Creative. General responsibilities include transportation of confidential materials and equipment, in addition to cleaning community areas. This role offers the opportunity to gain vital experience and knowledge of Ignition and its workflows, while offering valuable networking opportunities. The Post PA position is an entry- level position, and the very first step on the path towards being an Assistant Editor, and eventually editor at Ignition Creative.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Transporting confidential materials between offices, studios and general locations
Answering phones and transferring calls
Picking up supplies as well as general administrative work
Cleaning kitchen after breakfast and snacks, maintaining enough settings of dishes, cups, glasses, and silverware in all kitchens through the day and use dishwashers as needed, as well as making and handing out tea, coffee and meals
Qualifications & Skills
MUST have an interest in a career in Post Production, preferably Editorial. THIS IS MANDATORY. Familiarity with Non-Linear Editing software highly desirable
Bachelor's degree preferred, degree in Film highly desirable
Must be highly motivated, reliable, punctual, focused, and a team player
Must have valid drivers license, insurance, and a reliable car, as well as familiarity with the Los Angeles area
Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically
Must be able to multitask, as well as organize work effectively in order to meet deadlines
Freelance position to start with conversion to Full Time after probationary period completed successfully
