How do I hire a Digital and Motion Joint Designer? The Motion Graphics Designer will work and grow with two established teams of Designers, Art/Creative Directors, and Producers to design various high profile projects within the realm of Theatrical, Broadcast, and Digital motion graphics. The Motion Graphics Designer will contribute to and support the Digital and Motion Graphics teams with daily production and design.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Designs and animates concepts for visual communications materials across a variety of platforms such as social media, digital advertising, and traditional broadcast and theatrical marketing-including the styleframe and pitching phases for each.
- Creates and animates integrated graphics, rotoscoping footage, digital illustration and character animation.
- Works under the supervision of Senior Designers, Art/Creative Directors, and Producers
Qualifications & Skills
- Experienced in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop (C4D and Adobe Premiere is a plus),
also familiar with motion tracking.
- Great sense of typography, design, and possess the ability to troubleshoot technical issues that
may arise in final outputs.
- Strong creative thinking, exhibiting a range of varied styles and techniques
- Strong understanding of the 2d/3d process from concept to finish
- Attentive to detail and works efficiently under deadlines
- Must have a strong sense of self-motivation and initiative, and be able to work well as part of a team
- 3-5 years of experience in the field of Motion Graphics, Digital, and/or Social
- Advanced knowledge of film/broadcast specs & digital intermediates a plus
