Summary
The Creative Producer is responsible for collaborating with internal departments to orchestrate the successful execution of complex theatrical and broadcast projects from initial research and strategy through development, delivery and analysis. Will work with clients while managing internal resources, budget tracking and status reporting to ensure the delivery of products are on time, at cost and match our internal quality parameters. While the job focuses on creativity, the position also requires a developed sense of organization. The Creative Producer must be an endless resource of ideas for projects and superior writing skills are a must.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Write and produce creative content for marketing campaigns
- Work with strategy team to understand positioning, messaging and target demographic
- Work collaboratively with Creative Directors, Producers, Graphics, Music and all employees to communicate concept and supervise execution
- Ensure that creative output meets and exceeds client expectations
- Continually be a leader with innovative, creative marketing ideas that will extend the brand on all platforms
- Work closely with appropriate staff to acquire new business; oversee creative support for these efforts
- Solve client challenges from a strategic and tactical perspective
- Review projects and ensure integrity of creative and strategic positioning
- Maintain positive, productive and professional relationships with all internal and external clients
- Manage Associate Producers and create a positive mentoring environment
- Help develop and execute company strategy and creative goals
- Make final decisions with Creative Directors on creative work in line with the client needs
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in broadcast, movie trailer house, ad agency or production company
- Creative background in broadcast / theatrical marketing / original content a must
- Superior writing skills and advance sense of storytelling
- Understand all phases of pre-production, production and post-production
- Demonstrated time management, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, creatively problem- solve and work well under pressure
- Strong visual sense
- Understand editing and finishing processes
- Experience managing talent and coordinating shoots
- Bachelor's degree in Television/Film/Creative Writing or similar
