Talent Assistants Sought
This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join high performance client teams under the direction of an accomplished publicist and mentor. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintain the highest level of confidentiality and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a challenging, exciting career-track position designed to train future entertainment publicists in all aspects of the profession and media landscape, including existing and emerging social media platforms.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Heavy administrative support for client- and industry-facing publicity teams including phones, scheduling, confirmation and coordination of press opportunities, events, junkets and shoots, including managing hair, makeup and styling holds and logistic details.
-Monitoring and servicing of client press, maintenance of digital press kits, assets and media lists.
-Participating in team client strategy ideation and execution with increasing responsibilities and opportunity commensurate with experience.
-In success and with the guidance of your Account Executive, participating in pitching efforts, beginning to form industry relationships as a result of mentoring and valuable introductions.
Requirements:
-Interest in entertainment publicity as a career
-Minimum one-year full-time administrative experience
-Strong writing, research and organizational skills
-Self-starter with ambition, able to work independently and collaborate on teams
-Strong ability to prioritize, problem solve and be resourceful
-Ability to work well on deadline and take direction
-Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
