POSITION SUMMARY
This is a management client accounting position serving the Concerts and Lectures Department. This position must coordinate and manage all client based fiscal activities of those departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Prepare client payments for processing
• Reconcile client Escrow accounts, for all lines of business
• Interact with agents, assistants, and clients and their other representatives, including financial managers, regarding income reports, reconciling expenses, commissions, third party deductions, payment status and forecasts
• Generate client invoice reports regularly throughout each month
• Manage agents’ offices to ensure timely collections of client fees and commissions
• Manage client accounts payable and receivables and resolve client and commission billing issues
• Communicate status updates on ICM processed payments to agents’ offices and other client representatives
• Maintain accounting histories through electronic database, eAgent, and Excel
• facilitate client tax related supplemental reporting and questions
• Aid in the reconciliation and analysis of fiscal planning needs for clients and agents
• Hold regular account status meetings (i.e. UPS & past due reports) with responsible agents
• Collaborate and ensure proper communication with other lines of business and internal managers for cross-collateralization of client accounts
OVERALL FUNCTIONS
• Be an active collaborative problem solver driven to create solutions and systems to support the needs of the concerts and lectures departments
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Be able to prioritize projects based upon the needs of the department and company as a whole
• Be able to complete and manage required duties in timely fashion, or effectively communicate to management when unable to complete a required task or duty.
• Manage direct report assistant effectively in executing required duties including delegating tasks and supervising work product.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Competencies, Skills & Abilities:
• At least five years of accounting experience
• Previous Experience, a thorough familiarity and interest in concerts or lectures is required
• Strong accounting and quantitative skills
• Impeccable attention to detail, excellent organizational, planning, prioritizing and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues at every level
Education:
BA/BS degree with a strong academic record. Concentration in Business Administration, or Accounting, preferred
Experience: A minimum of five years of work experience in a professional office environment required.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. Expert level with Windows/PCs.
