Organization Overview:
The IATSE Entertainment and Exhibition Industries Training Trust Fund (''IATSE Training Trust Fund'' or ''TTF'') is a Taft-Hartley labor-management training fund governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of both union and employer representatives. The TTF was created to facilitate opportunities for eligible workers to achieve and maintain the skills, ability and knowledge necessary to meet the ever-changing technologies in the entertainment and exhibition industries. Courses take place throughout the United States, its Territories, and Canada. The IATSE TTF is now in its seventh year.
Position:
The TTF seeks a detailed-oriented team player to be an AR Analyst. The successful candidate will perform a variety of accounting duties according to established policies and procedures including the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable, collections, and bank deposits. Responsibilities include (but are not be limited to) the following:
• Maintain accounts receivables for contributing employers; allocate/apply payments; perform bank deposits; download daily lockbox deposits
• Regularly review collective bargaining agreements to understand billing and payment requirements for contributing employers
• Review payment postings for accuracy and ensure account balances are current; resolve payment discrepancies
• Monitor and update customer account details for incorrect payments, delinquent payments and other irregularities; research, analyze and resolve customer accounts on an ongoing basis
• Perform general finance department office support: filing, scanning, copying, prepare employer communications and handle mail
• Other duties as assigned by the Controller
Applicant Requirements
• Strong accounting skills with a proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting programs; thorough understanding of complex receivables and reconciliation
• Accurate data entry skills and strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, especially via phone and email, with a high degree of professionalism
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• BA/BS degree in accounting or business or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of related AR experience

• Well-organized, analytical, and self-directed with excellent follow-though
• Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in preparing, entering and maintaining financial and other information
• Familiarity with and an understanding of contracts and agreements
• Previous experience in a union, labor-management or entertainment industry environment preferred
