Office, Media, and Marketing Intern Positions

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

I Media Style is looking for an intern who can work independently with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in person and on the phone. Candidates will be highly organized with timely delivery of projects.
Will learn the daily operations of media department and assist with the setup of celebrity interview, stage setting, filming and editting footage.

1. OFFICE INTERNSHIP

Assist with writing and editing of campaign, publication materials and mailings
Attend development meetings and contribute ideas/opinions.
Assist with day to day management of our database and filing.
Attend our Multimedia special events.
Use online resources .
Self-directed and able to follow through independently on assigned tasks;

2. MEDIA INTERNSHIP

Ability to edit footage with a talented visual eye. Experience with technology, marketing concepts, leadership development, and strong attention to detail will serve the Intern well in this position.

Successful candidates will have Social Networking awareness, Mac and PC computer skills.

You will work with Adobe Creative Suite. Exceptional candidates with other interests/backgrounds will be considered.

3. MARKETING DEPARTMENT INTERN


Responsibilities
Follow-up with marketing requests to make sure all necessary components of project are collected; create a project calendar for marketing requests
Assist in writing press releases, media advisories, and other items as assigned
Research and update media contact list
Attend station meetings as assigned
Assist with community relations activities including screenings, award ceremonies, presenting station activities, and other events
Create a media coverage clip-book to measure and track media impressions of placements
Assist with coordination of awards entries and prospective awards research
Gather information for monthly On Air Guide; coordinate with editor on gathering photos and other materials
Other marketing/communications as assigned by the Executive Director of Marketing

5. INTERACTIVE INTERNSHIP

Highly-motivated individuals sought for Internship with High Media Style's Interactive Department.
Interns will work with web developers and designers to provide multimedia solutions for IMS as well as perform regular duties to improve and maintain the website.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of Photoshop a must.
Knowledge of html and css.
Knowledge of Flash and Action Scripting a plus.
Knowledge of desktop video and audio editing a plus.
