This is a Full Time Job
We're building an unusual company that competes in a very complex industry full of intimidating players. Hulu is a customer-centric tidal force styled as a technology company trying to succeed on four fronts simultaneously. This effort is not going to be easy, but we all agree that our culture, organization and talent are essential to our continuing success.
We believe traditional models of talent development are insufficient or improperly designed for our purposes. We need people to learn without boring classrooms and one-way presentations. We need tools and programs that inspire and challenge. We need to be unusually creative (and courageous) in designing and developing solutions and facilitating their implementation such that our people thrive and our company grows. That's how we roll.
We're looking for a Talent Development Coordinator to join our small but growing Talent Development team. We like to think of ourselves as a team that gives 100%, but also knows how to enjoy the process in our fast-paced, constantly changing environment. This is definitely not your typical 9-5 job-in fact, Hulu requires a different type of individual altogether. A ''Hulugan'' is often defined as a team player who ''sweats every pixel.'' We're looking for someone to sweat every pixel, notice the fine details and who is happy to support the Talent Development team and grow with us.
Responsibilities
• Work with all teams across Hulu to coordinate and administer the Nulugan orientation program
• Become the main point of contact for all new hires, and make sure they are ready for their first day
• Provide assistance within the internship program, including (but not limited to): support and participate in planning and execution of intern events, coordinating travel, transportation, housing and ordering new intern swag
• Assist members of the Talent Development team with various administrative tasks
• Help with the implementation and coordination of training sessions, brown bags and other talent development programs
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required
• 1-3 years of administrative/support experience
• Superb interpersonal skills
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• A passion for the details and finishing touches to make products and services stand out
• Team player mentality and a proactive problem solver
• Strong interest in talent development and training programs
• Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive and fun attitude with the desire to learn and grow
• Good eye for design-PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills are required; Adobe Suite (i.e. Photoshop) is a plus
• Expected to work some weekends during the summer for (fun!) intern events
• High tolerance for bad jokes and puns
