Full Time Unpaid Internship
SUMMARY
Hulu's Original Content team is seeking a Post Production Summer Intern who will be an outstanding addition to our growing team. As a Post Production Intern at Hulu, you will experience the day-to-day efforts of a streaming network post production department servicing scripted and unscripted projects, including co-productions, films, documentaries, and specials. You will gain a solid perspective of that market and the industry overall. As a member of the Post Production team, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with all Original Content sub-teams including Development, Casting, and Production, in addition to members of the Marketing, PR, Legal, and Tech teams.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity likes to think critically and strategically, is intellectually curious, thrives in an undefined environment, and employs a proactive approach to problem solving. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Work alongside Production and Post Production executives on assignments as needed
• Track, organize, and manage all post production materials on past and current shows in partnership with the Production team
• Assist in building and maintaining post production related documents for individual project use
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure they have the latest post production updates and information
• Create spreadsheets using existing information to be used for overview, comparison, and research purposes
• Liaise with external post partners including studios, production companies, and vendors by managing, sorting, and forwarding inquiries to the appropriate individuals
• Schedule and attend post facility tours and vendor visits
• Raise awareness among the team execs around relevant industry events, important post production dates, as well as studio and vendor meetings
WHAT TO BRING
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in TV & Film, Journalism, Communications, or related subject
• Passion for media and entertainment, with a focus on TV
• Exceptional organizational skills and efficient time management
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects at a given time
• Can-do, proactive attitude and positive, collaborative demeanor
• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities, as well as attention to detail
• Extensive experience with G-suite products
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Previous television extracurricular/internship experience
• An interest in pursuing a career in post production
