SUMMARY
The Disney Streaming team, which encompasses Disney , Hulu, and ESPN streaming services, is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition who will be an exceptional additional to our team. As the Senior Manager, your job is to lead a high-performing talent acquisition team that consistently delivers a continuous pipeline of top-quality talent. The right person for this role is seen as a credible leader amongst our Business Leads and Hiring Managers and can lead the team into a future era where the function is consistently viewed as strategic, consultative and proactive. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Ensure every Business Lead and hiring manager receives world-class talent acquisition consultation and support
• Lead the evolution of the talent acquisition team towards a function that is consistently viewed as a strategic, consultative and proactive partner with the business
• Develop and execute plans that identify and drive productivity improvements enabling the team to deliver against aggressive hiring goals
• Lead a team of high performing Recruiting Managers, Senior Recruiters, and Recruiters in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Continuously iterate and improve our talent acquisition analytics and reporting, ensuring the talent acquisition team has access to and is versed in utilizing data to influence others
• Collaborate with business leaders and talent advisors to understand their hiring needs and goals, and to develop, implement and execute the overall university recruiting strategy
• Constantly assess process to identify areas for process improvement and partner with recruitment operations to design and implement solutions.
• Ensure the talent acquisition team is viewed as a trusted and collaborative partner with other departments, including ensuring strong partnerships with the HR Business Partners, Compensation, Sourcing, Coordination, and other enterprise team
• Partner with TA leadership and business leaders to strategize and execute on our Inclusion & Diversity priorities and drive recruiting-related initiatives to support diversity hiring efforts.
• Partner with L&D, recruiting managers, hiring managers and recruiting operations to build training programs and ways of working with hiring managers and interviewers that continually improve their capabilities to assess and hire top talent.
• Provide regular updates to the TA Leadership Team and Executive Team on progress against hiring targets and other key talent acquisition initiatives
• Manage multiple projects with shifting and competing priorities.
WHAT TO BRING
• 8 years of recruitment experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role – emphasis on track record of productive and influential partnerships with the business
• 4 years of experiencing managing high-performing distributed teams
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Organization Development, or relevant field
• Experience working in a technology, media, start-up or knowledge worker environment
• Self-starter comfortable leading through ambiguity to define clear roadmaps and processes
• Creative problem solving skills to overcome challenges and obstacles
