SUMMARY
Hulu's Talent & Organization (TAO) team is seeking a Senior Manager of Compensation who will be an outstanding addition to our team. In this role, you will oversee our Compensation team and partner with other key TAO teams to help drive industry leading practices across our business. The right person for this role has domain expertise in compensation practices, is self-directed and has exceptional analytical abilities, curiosity, creativity and a natural ability to communicate effectively and handle key partnerships. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Oversee and develop a high performing and collaborative Compensation team
• Ensure our total compensation package designs stay both competitive and in sync with the market for all Hulugans
• Stay ahead of both internal and external trends to anticipate the impact of our practices, and figure out it will take to maintain industry leading practices
• Set the vision and lead all creative aspects of how our compensation systems are communicated clearly and consistently to our organization, at scale
• Partner closely with the Talent Advisory (HRBPs) and Talent Acquisition teams to understand their evolving needs, and implement process improvements and education that help these teams to work effectively with their business stakeholders
• Advise management and executives on compensation related issues
• Lead the compensation team to run compensation planning cycles, partnering closely with our Finance team to develop budgets
• Collaborate with Hulugan Sciences and Hulugan Analytics teams to integrate data & analyses to augment the design and implementation of compensation processes
• Work with HR technology team on the tooling to support these programs

• Strong critical thinking skills born out of natural, deep intellectual curiosity that drives a healthy appetite for learning, investigating, and constantly asking why
• Creativity when it comes to generating ideas, but an understanding that execution is what ultimately matters
• Clear communication skills, including a knack for breaking down complex technical concepts and knowledge sharing
• A strong growth mindset, unwavering grit, and a desire for being constantly pushed to grow
• Comfort with ambiguity, and an instinct for moving quickly
• Strong relationship management skills
NICE-TO-HAVES
• 8 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated success in career
• 2 years of management experience with demonstrated leadership potential
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or quantitatively oriented social science field (e.g., economics, psychology, statistics, mathematics)
• Ability to facilitate gathering qualitative information about Hulu from leaders and Hulugans alike, and synthesize with complex quantitative findings from People Analytics teams as input for evolving our programs
