Location: Yonkers, NY
The Business Systems Analyst reports to the VP of Finance and is responsible for developing and refining custom business applications using information technology to enhance the performance of various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare routine finance department data analysis and reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. These include:
o Execute daily data processes to generate codes to support the job cost system.
o Prepare weekly labor projection and variance report.
o Prepare monthly financial closing schedules for revenue, job cost and capital expense.
o Execute monthly data processes and accompanying reconciliations to support financial closing data.
o Import trial balance data to generate various monthly financial statements.
• Special projects - custom business applications:
o Implement custom rental equipment tracking system and reports.
o Implement custom issue tracking application and reports for the rental department.
• General IT tasks - trouble-shoot basic IT user issues and/or coordinate with outside IT consultant to resolve them.
• Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent and previous related experience in help desk support environment (2 years preferred).
• SQL (including writing scripts for data extraction), SSRS.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and high proficiency across the MS Office suite in general.
• Experience with Epicor business software is optimal but not required.
• C# and VBA familiarity/knowledge preferred but not required.
• Theatre experience and knowledge of the live entertainment industry a plus.
• Ability to take direction, prioritize, execute, and problem solve in a high-pressure environment; must be highly organized and work effectively within given time constraints.
• Self-motivated; team oriented with collaborative work style.
