Emerging independent production company seeks an enthusiastic, personable and highly organized individual to fill the position of Executive Assistant and Social Media Manager. The Executive Assistant will work directly with the company's CEO to ensure steady coordination of day-to-day tasks, communication and projects as well as build and monitor company's social media accounts. Desired skills, qualifications and characteristics: BA/BS from a 4-year university preferred; Strong interest in film/entertainment industry management; At least one year of previous office assistant, production assistant experience preferred; Skilled with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with a genuine interest in developing and creating social content; Knowledge of Word, Excel, Gmail, Google calendar, Google docs, and social media networking; Basic knowledge of graphic design and Photoshop; Must have excellent computer, grammar, communication (written and verbal), organizational, and time management skills; Must be detail-oriented, resourceful and self-directed; at times must be able to be productive with little supervision; Must have a reliable means of transportation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing professional and personal calendars to C-level executives
- Keeping phone and email correspondence with business associates (clients, film festival coordinators, documentary participants, actors, etc.)
- Managing company social accounts across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Developing and producing social media content for weekly publishing
- Conducting productive research as needed for meeting and project prep
- Assisting with the coordination of projects and events
- Arranging travel accommodations
- Assisting on film shoots, as necessary
- General office and administrative duties
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
