General Description:
The Game Presentation Manager is responsible for assisting with the programming of all Rockets games, including the creation of game scripts & PA copy, managing game logs, game day stage manager, and assists with the development of all other in-game activations, promotions and elements as requested.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
• Create and manage game day scripts and ensure all corporate, marketing, ticket and group sales obligations are met.
• Manage and update the Master Game Spreadsheet to ensure all activations and other elements are scheduled to meet multiple departments' needs in Game Presentation.
• Work closely with the Director of LP&E and other Game Presentation personnel with rehearsals for all on court activations, including intros, sponsored timeouts, entertainment team performances, tributes, ceremonies, etc.
• Game night stage manager – includes but is not limited to headset communication, coordinating props, staging, talent, and player coordination.
• Follow team/player storylines for game day programming.
• Oversee Game Presentation inventory, including props, giveaways, etc.
• Work closely with the production team as it relates to in-arena content.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of special events and promotional activities requiring services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Four to five years of experience with large scale events or arena operations
• Two to three years of experience in a supervisory role in live entertainment production.
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner with internal and external clients at all levels within an organization.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
• Ability to manage multiple activities during a single event and under time constraints.
• Must have a passion for basketball and the fast-paced world of live events.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
• The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, communicate with others.
• The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.
• The employee must be able to transfer and move items for departmental needs.
• The employee must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed considering the strong focus on external communications and relationships.
