Disney Business Analytics Graduate Intern – Summer 2020 (Burbank)
Job Summary:

The Business and Analytics intern will work on researching and mining our data for insights on playlist activity and how it drives our business.
Responsibilities:
• Measure and assess performance of our music on key playlists (both owned and partner editorial). Tools/platforms used will include:
• UM-X Suite
• DOMO
• ChartMetric
• Unsupervised
• Nielsen Music Connect
• Spotify Analytics
• Apple Sales and Trends
• Tableau (using our internal data lake)
• Produce reports and process information to provide guidance and feedback to the playlist and streaming team. This information will be used to measure successes and formulate directions for ongoing and future campaigns. Some examples are:
• What are the metrics that drive editorial playlist adds or drops?
• Which editorial playlists tend to be 'trigger' playlists for other growth and activity?
• Who are the core listeners and how are they consuming?
• Partner with other members of the Sales and Digital team, as well as the analytics support groups around Disney on assigned projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong analytical background
• Keen interest in music and the music business
• Strong familiarity with key music streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube)
• A quick study on usage of various data dashboards and business intelligence tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask
• Detail oriented
• Passion and insatiable curiosity for uncovering insights
• Strong Excel and Tableau skills

Required Education
Pursing a Master's program in Business, Business Research, and/or Business Analytics.
Additional Information:
At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
