HollyShorts Film Festival - Intern
July 8th - August 20th, 2024
We are looking for a small group of interns to assist with the programming and execution of the 20th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, August 8th-18th. The HollyShorts Film Festival is an Academy Award®-qualifying independent short film festival located in Hollywood, California. The team will need assistance with pre-festival activity and planning, as well as on-site activity during the ten-day festival in August.
Applicants must be LA-Based. Note that we will pay for on-site meals and parking during the festival.
What You'll Do:
• Watch and rate short film submissions on FilmFreeway
• Meet with the review team bi-monthly to discuss the most notable films which you recommend
• Data collection
• Industry & film-related research
• Ticketing / organize the attendees list (leading up to the festival)
• Set-up and break-down (on-site)
• Greet and assist filmmakers/attendees (on-site)
