Fall 2019 Internship Position
Internship Position: Production Administration
Who you are:
This is an ideal internship for someone who has a strong interest in production company administration and production assisting.
Requirements:
This is an unpaid internship for school credit. Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship to join our team). We require you be able to obtain school credit for this internship.
Time commitment: 1-2 days per week. Must be available Mondays mornings for our bi-coastal upper management meeting (You can be available remotely and call in via video chat. Since our team is east coast and west coast, most team members call in). Please note this internship is designed with flexibility to fit into and compliment your class schedule.
Must be comfortable working remotely. When we are not on set, we are a remote company so most days will be remote. Occasional days on film sets and at Soho House or WeWork will also be involved.
Must live near the LA area with a valid driver's license. Must be able to be interviewed in the LA area. Availability to occasionally arrive to set in the LA area or meetings at Soho House/WeWork in the LA area.
We require you be a TV/Film/Video Production, Communications, or similar degree program.
Seeking a team member with a positive attitude who shares our enthusiasm for the entertainment/content creation industry.
Must be organized/reliable self-starter with foresight and willing to learn from and assist senior production team.
Must be discrete with high profile clients and able to be trusted with private information.
Responsibilities may include:
Monday mornings are our weekly team meeting (remote bicoastal video meeting with Co-CEOS, EP, and Head of Production Management). The meeting purpose is to identify and schedule all action items related to projects in the bid, pre-pro- and post stages + business ops. Must be able to attend the meeting remotely and schedule all action items onto the appropriate team members weekly calendar. Option to be trained in on various action items and tasks.
Attend and take notes on client calls.
Organize internal finished project/asset library Dropbox.
Upkeep and innovate company internal databases including but not limited to HR database, professional development database, and award show database.
Manage deadlines for professional development programs/award shows.
Miscellaneous administration duties include scheduling meetings, calls, filing, maintaining organized google drive, and more. We highly prefer someone with a positive attitude about and experience doing admin work.
Option to occasionally shadow, train, or potentially P.A. on sets in the LA area.
