Full Posting:
Role: House of Blues is looking for an individual to ensure the success of show and event productions by handling the technical aspects of audio and stage operations. The candidate will assist with A/V operations, band equipment setup, and provide professional audio mixing.
Essential Functions:
• Perform load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment.
• Set up and break down band and event equipment.
• Collaborate with crew members on cabling and patching.
• Adjust audio levels and maintain safe levels while providing a professional mix.
• Operate audio control boards and oversee visiting audio techs during shows.
• Maintain, protect, and repair audio equipment.
• Assist production teams with technical aspects throughout the venue.
• Help the Production Manager with technical advances for artist representatives.
• Manage and distribute audio plans for shows.
• Oversee and operate audio systems throughout the venue for both shows and special events.
• Maintain relationships with local and national audio vendors.
• Assist with lighting and special event operations when required.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of tour and stage production experience.
- Proficiency in pro audio systems, stage lighting, and basic video systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Superior communication and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma.
• Preferred:
- College Degree.
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
