This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Job Title: Social Media Content Intern (NYC | Hospitality & Live Events)
Location: New York City (in-person evenings required; some daytime editing)
About the Role
• We are hiring multiple Social Media Content Interns to support the development and execution of a high-volume, high-quality content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
• Each intern will operate as an individual contributor within a small, collaborative content team, with shared ownership of content output. This role is hands-on and embedded within live operations, with a focus on capturing, producing, and distributing engaging digital content on a near-daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Planning & Strategy
• Contribute to weekly content planning and ideation aligned with business priorities (events, ticket sales, and brand awareness)
• Identify and adapt social media trends into brand-relevant content formats
• Support the development of recurring content series and formats
• Content Production (Filming & Editing)
• Capture video content during live events, including comedy shows, rooftop activations, and guest interactions
• Produce short-form video content optimized for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Edit and deliver multiple pieces of content per shift, maximizing output from each filming session
• On-Camera Presence & Engagement
• Participate in on-camera content (preferred), including interviews and hosted segments
• Engage with guests, performers, and influencers to create authentic, shareable moments
• Assist with publishing content and managing audience engagement (comments, direct messages)
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in social media, digital content, and emerging platform trends
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, social, and live-event environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse audience
• Proficiency in basic video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
• Availability during evenings and weekends
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience creating content for personal or brand social media accounts
• On-camera or hosting experience
• Interest in comedy, nightlife, hospitality, or live event production
• Familiarity with social media analytics or content performance metrics
