Position: Videography (Internship)
Company: High Line Comedy Club
Location: On-site - Meatpacking District, NYC
Internship Start Date/Season:** Immediate Start - Rolling Applications
Internship Duration: 3-4 months with potential for extension
Time/Days Required:** Friday & Saturday evenings, 5 PM - 11 PM EST
Workplace Requirements:** On-site; must be comfortable operating in a live performance setting

Description:
High Line Comedy Club is seeking a passionate and skilled Director of Photography Intern to lead visual capture of our stand-up comedy shows. This is a hands-on, gear-rich opportunity ideal for a film student, aspiring cinematographer, or early-career DP looking to build a reel in the live entertainment space.

What You'll Do:
• Set up and operate professional cameras (Sony FX9, FX3) and lighting rigs
• Frame and capture dynamic multi-cam footage of weekly live comedy performances
• Collaborate with producers and performers to ensure high-quality visual storytelling
• Manage and organize footage for post-production handoff
• Occasionally assist with live audio capture (bonus if skilled in this area)

Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of camera systems, lenses, and lighting setups
• Experience with Sony cinema cameras preferred
